Welcome to The Main Event, Mississippi's newest wedding venue and event space located in historic downtown Grenada, MS. The magnificent structure was originally purchased through Sears, Roebuck & Company, with components shipped in by rail and then constructed. The venue has undergone a massive renovation, and every effort has been made to restore it to its original condition as a residence.

The current layout maintains many traditional attributes, such as a formal dining room, a formal living room, and side parlors decorated with furniture reminiscent of the time period in which it was constructed. Preserving such timeless elegance is of great importance to us, and as such, noteworthy details are woven into every corner of the venue, creating an inviting atmosphere that encourages conversation and good cheer. With The Main Event, you and your guests can indulge in a piece of Grenada's history while delighting in luxury and camaraderie with every event.

We're so excited to offer you well-equipped event spaces with everything you need to make your occasion efficient and elegant. 

Our newly refurbished caterer's kitchen has all the latest amenities, including a convection oven, industrial sinks, a dishwasher, and a refrigerator. Meanwhile, the beauty salon is the perfect place to get glammed up with a salon chair, hair washing station, and a spacious closet to store all your beauty supplies.

Thomas Hall is the heart of our southern historic venue and comes equipped with adjustable uplighting, a top-quality audio system, and dimmable chandeliers to create the perfect ambiance for your event. We also have a Rental Collection that includes tables, linens, candlesticks, dishes, chargers, decor, and more, all of which you can use to make your event even more special.

The bar is a great place for guests to gather and enjoy a refreshing drink. It's designed with several shelves for ample storage and a large counter space where guests can mingle and catch up. We also have a cocktail passthrough window with a bar prep sink, mini-fridge, and cabinet space for backstock.

Coffee lovers will be thrilled to know that we have a coffee corner with an industrial-sized tea maker and coffee maker. And if you're worried about parking, don't be! We have multiple street access points for easy navigation within the parking lot and quick optimal routes to Main Street and I-55. Our private parking lot can accommodate many cars, with access to overflow street parking.

Finally, we're conveniently located near Grenada Downtown Square, so you'll have easy access to a wide variety of local businesses and event vendors. We can't wait to help you host your special occasion at The Main Event!
